  I only had two weeks available to study and I wanted to improve my very rusty French. The intensive course at GEOS was a good fit. The staff here are very welcoming and friendly. They were quite helpful setting me up in a residence that was an easy 10 minute walk from the school. I took the intensive course and it was a good way to spend the little time I had really focusing on French. There is no way to learn a language completely in just 2 weeks but it provided a strong base to go out and practice talking with people. I appreciated the fact that GEOS had several levels of French classes at the same time and students were able to freely move up or down a level to suit their ability. I also found the interactions with other students fun. Montreal is also a great city to explore!
